How long does grass installation take?

Most installations are completed within 1 day, depending on the size of the area and site preparation required. Larger properties may take 1–5 days.

 

 What preparation is needed before installing grass?

The area should be cleared of old grass, weeds, stones, and debris. For best results, soil should be loosened and levelled before installation. Our PREMIUM package includes full preparation.

 

 When is the best time to install instant lawn?

Instant lawn can be installed year-round, but the best results are usually achieved in spring, summer, and early autumn when temperatures support root growth.

 

 How soon can the new lawn be used?

Light walking is usually fine after 2–3 weeks, once the roots have started establishing. Heavy use should wait about 4 weeks.

 

 How often should the new lawn be watered?

New grass should be watered daily for the first 2 weeks to keep the soil moist. After that, watering can be reduced to 2–3 times per week.

 

 What type of grass do you supply?

We supply grass types suitable for the Mpumalanga climate, typically including hardy varieties that perform well in sun and light shade. Specific grass types can be recommended based on your property.
